Configuring Work Locations

Set up the physical locations or coordinates where employees can check in. This is critical for GPS-based attendance verification.

Why Work Locations Matter: Techsup Track uses GPS verification to ensure employees are checking in from authorized work locations. This prevents fraudulent attendance records and ensures compliance.

Adding a Work Location

Navigate to Locations

Go to "Settings" → "Work Locations"

Click Add Location

Click "Add New Location" button

Enter Location Details

Provide:

  • Location name (e.g., "Headquarters Riyadh")
  • Street address
  • City and postal code

Set GPS Coordinates

Use the map or enter exact latitude/longitude. You can also set a geofence radius (typically 100-200 meters) for flexibility.

Assign to Department

Select which departments use this location

Save Location

Click "Create Location"

Remote Work: If you have remote employees, create a "Remote Work" location with a larger geofence radius or disable GPS verification for approved remote workers.
