Employee-Admin Assignment Dashboard
Manage and track employee and administrator assignments across your organization
Overview
The Employee-Admin Assignment Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of how employees are assigned to administrators throughout your organization. This page displays critical statistics about assignments and allows you to manage the relationship between employees and their assigned admins.
Dashboard Statistics
The top of the dashboard displays four important metrics:
Total Employees
Shows the complete count of all employees in your system. This includes active, inactive, and employees awaiting assignment to an admin.
Total Admins
Displays the total number of administrators available in your system for employee assignment.
Assigned Employees
Shows the number of employees who have been assigned to an administrator. This helps you track assignment progress.
Active Admins
Displays the count of admins who are currently active in the system and available to manage employees.
Employees Section
The left side of the dashboard displays all employees in your organization:
Employee List
View all employees with their profile pictures, names, and current assignment status. You can scroll through the list to see all employees in the system.
Empty State
If no employees exist in your system, you'll see an empty state message. Use the Employees section to add new employees first.
Assignment Indicator
Each employee shows whether they have been assigned to an admin or are still unassigned.
Admins Section
The right side of the dashboard displays all administrators:
Admin List
View all active administrators with their profile pictures, names, and assignment status. Admins shown here are available to manage employees.
Empty State
If no admins exist in your system, you'll see an empty state message. Create admin accounts first in the Admins Management section.
Admin Status
Shows whether an admin is active and has employees assigned to them.
How to Make Assignments
To assign employees to administrators:
- 1Review the list of unassigned employees on the left side.
- 2Identify which admin you want to assign the employee to on the right side.
- 3Use the action buttons or drag-and-drop interface to assign the employee.
- 4The employee will move to the assigned state and appear under the selected admin.
Best Practices for Assignments
- Balance Workload: Distribute employees evenly among admins to prevent one admin from being overloaded.
- Assign by Department: Consider assigning employees by department so one admin oversees all employees in a specific department.
- Regular Reviews: Periodically review assignments to ensure they're still appropriate as your organization grows.
- Communication: Inform both employees and admins about assignments so they're aware of the relationship.
- Document Changes: Keep track of when and why assignments change for audit purposes.
